Online Catalogue Terms of Use
1. General Provisions
1.1. SIA RIKI.LV, reg. No. 40203469011, legal address: Miera iela 16 k-5 — 26, LV-2169 Salaspils, Latvia (hereinafter — Seller), operates the online catalogue www.instrumenti.lv (hereinafter — Online Catalogue) and sells goods in accordance with these Terms of Use (hereinafter — Terms).
1.2. The Buyer is a natural or legal person placing an order in the Online Catalogue (hereinafter — Buyer).
1.3. By placing an order in the Online Catalogue, the Buyer confirms that they have read these Terms and agree to them, and have also read the Privacy Policy.
1.4. A Buyer purchasing goods as a natural person (consumer) enjoys the rights provided by the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia and Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 "Regulations Regarding Distance Contracts".
1.5. The contract between the Seller and the Buyer is deemed concluded at the moment the Buyer has placed an order in the Online Catalogue and received an order confirmation by e-mail.
2. Registration
2.1. To place an order, the Buyer may register in the Online Catalogue by creating a user account. During registration the Buyer provides their first name, last name, e-mail address and creates a password.
2.2. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided during registration. If the Buyer's data changes, the Buyer must update it promptly in their profile or notify the Seller at [email protected].
2.3. The Buyer is responsible for the security of their account and must not share account access credentials with third parties.
3. Placing an Order
3.1. The Buyer selects goods in the Online Catalogue and adds them to the shopping cart.
3.2. The Buyer fills in the delivery information and selects the delivery and payment method.
3.3. Before confirming the order, the Buyer reviews the order summary, verifies the provided information, and confirms the order.
3.4. After order confirmation, the Buyer receives an order confirmation to the specified e-mail address.
3.5. The Seller reserves the right to refuse an order if the goods are unavailable in stock or other objective difficulties arise, notifying the Buyer promptly.
4. Prices
4.1. Prices in the Online Catalogue are stated in euro (EUR) and include value added tax (VAT) at 21%.
4.2. The Seller reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. The price fixed at the time of ordering is final and will not change after order confirmation.
4.3. Delivery costs are added to the total order amount and are shown before order confirmation.
5. Payment
5.1. Payment is made by bank transfer based on a prepayment invoice issued by the Seller.

5.3. The payment deadline is 7 (seven) business days from the date of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the invoice.
5.4. If payment is not received within the specified period, the Seller reserves the right to cancel the order.
5.5. In addition to bank transfer, the Online Catalogue accepts payment by Visa and Mastercard via the Klix by Citadele payment platform. Payments are processed in a secure banking environment — the catalogue does not receive or store the customer's card data. Upon successful payment, the customer receives a confirmation e-mail with order details.
6. Delivery
6.1. The Seller delivers goods throughout Latvia using the following methods:
- Omniva parcel locker — delivery time: 1—3 business days, price: from 3.50 EUR;
- Omniva courier — delivery time: 1—3 business days, price: from 6.50 EUR;
- Self-pickup from the Seller's warehouse — free of charge, by prior arrangement.
6.2. The delivery period begins from the moment payment is received in the Seller's account.
6.3. The Seller is not responsible for delivery delays caused by the courier service or third parties, or due to force majeure circumstances.
6.4. Upon receiving the goods, the Buyer must inspect the packaging. If the packaging is damaged, the Buyer must notify the Seller immediately.
6.5. The Seller also delivers goods to all European Union countries and to the Nordic countries, including Norway.
6.6. For deliveries outside Latvia, the method, price and delivery time are calculated individually and depend on the destination country and address, weight, dimensions and type of goods. International delivery terms are agreed with the Buyer before payment.
6.7. The rates and delivery times specified in clause 6.1 apply to deliveries within Latvia and do not automatically extend to international delivery.
7. Right of Withdrawal
7.1. A consumer (natural person) has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the date of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia and Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 "Regulations Regarding Distance Contracts".
7.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer sends the Seller a completed withdrawal form or a free-form notice to: [email protected].
7.3. The Buyer returns the goods to the Seller without undue delay, but no later than 14 days after sending the withdrawal notice. The cost of returning goods is borne by the Buyer.
7.4. The returned goods must not have been used (except to determine their nature, characteristics, and functioning), must be in a condition that allows further sale (preferably in the original packaging), with all labels and documents.
7.5. The Seller refunds the amount paid for the goods within 14 days of receiving the goods back, using the same payment method used by the Buyer.
7.6. The consumer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
7.7. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods manufactured to the Buyer's individual order or specification.
8. Warranty
8.1. The Seller guarantees that goods conform to the manufacturer's description and specification.
8.2. The consumer may exercise statutory warranty rights within 2 (two) years from the date of purchase in accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law.
8.3. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, storage, or mechanical impact.
8.4. To submit a warranty claim, the Buyer contacts the Seller at [email protected], stating the order number and description of the defect.
9. Liability
9.1. The Seller is not liable for losses caused by force majeure circumstances.
9.2. The Seller is not liable for delays in delivery caused by third parties (courier services, postal service providers).
9.3. The Seller is not liable for losses arising from the Buyer providing incorrect or incomplete data.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1. All content of the Online Catalogue (texts, images, logos, product descriptions, design, software code) is the intellectual property of the Seller or its partners and is protected by the laws of the Republic of Latvia and international regulations.
10.2. Copying, reproducing, or using the content of the Online Catalogue without the written permission of the Seller is prohibited.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1. The Buyer first submits any complaints to the Seller at [email protected]. The Seller reviews the complaint and provides a response within 15 business days.
11.2. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, the consumer may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (CRPC):

11.4. Disputes that cannot be resolved out of court are heard by a court of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
12. Amendments to Terms
12.1. The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time by publishing the updated version in the Online Catalogue.
12.2. Orders placed before any amendments to the Terms are governed by the Terms in effect at the time the order was placed.
