Warranty and returns
Products purchased at www.instrumenti.lv comply with the manufacturer's specifications and the requirements of Latvian legislation.
Legal warranty
Under the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia, consumers have the right to file a complaint about product non-conformity within 2 (two) years from the date of purchase.
If a product does not match its description or has a manufacturing defect, we will repair, replace, or refund it free of charge.
Manufacturer's warranty
Many products come with an additional commercial warranty from the manufacturer. The warranty period and conditions are specified in the product documentation or description on the website. The commercial warranty does not limit your statutory rights.
Right of withdrawal (14 days)
You have the right to return a purchased product within 14 calendar days of receipt without giving a reason. This right applies to natural persons (consumers) in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 on distance contracts.
Return conditions:
- The product has not been used (except to verify its nature, characteristics, and functioning)
- The product is in a condition that allows further sale (preferably in the original packaging), with all labels and documents
- Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer
- Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned product
How to initiate a return:
- Send an email to [email protected] with your order number
- We will send you a withdrawal form
- Return the product within 14 days of submitting the withdrawal
Warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper use or storage
- Mechanical damage (drops, impacts, moisture)
- Normal wear and tear
- Custom-made products
Filing a claim
To file a warranty claim:
- Send an email to [email protected]
- Include the order number, product name, and description of the issue
- Attach photographs if possible
- We will review your claim and respond within 15 business days
