- jaws induction hardened to a hardness of about 55-60 HRC, effectively cut steel sheet up to 1.4 mm thick, cold-rolled steel
- equipped with an easily removable spring, opening the handles and jaws, this facilitates cutting sheet metal
- handles covered with soft pads
