Clamp universal multimeter

Universal clamp meter YT-73091 with automatic range for most indications allows you to make basic electrical measurements. The meter is equipped with measuring clamps, which allow you to measure the AC current in a single wire using the inductive method. The measurement is carried out without disconnecting the circuit or disconnecting it from the power source, and makes it possible to measure a much higher current than conventional electrical meters.

Basic measurements:

• AC voltage measurement: A.C. 0-600 V
• DC voltage measurement: D.C. 0-600 V
• alternating current measurement: A.C. 0-600 A
• resistance measurement: 0-20 MΩ
• diode test: IF 1mA, UR 1.48 V
• circuit continuity test: 0-120 Ω

Additional measurements:

• temperature measurement: -20 to 1000 °C

Measurement accuracies:

• Measurement accuracy of YT-73091 meter for this range is : ±(2.5% + 5), resolution 0.1 A
• calculation of measurement error formula: (measurement result x 2.5%) + 5 x resolution
• calculation: (30 x 2.5%) + 5 x 0.1 = 0.75 + 0.5 = 1.25 A

Result including measurement error for 30 A indication = 30 ± 1.25 A*

• Result including measurement error for AC voltage measurement indication: 235 V = 235 ± 8.525 V*

result including measurement error for DC voltage measurement indication: 12 V = 12 ± 0.106 V

*The YT-73091 meter does not have a true rms measurement function, so the above result is the real rms value of AC voltage and current only for a normal sinusoidal waveform.

Built-in functions:

• AUTO
  automatic adjustment of the measurement range. When measuring unknown values with a meter with manual range adjustment using the knob, take measurements sequentially from the largest range up to the range giving the most accurate result
  otherwise you risk damaging the device. On the other hand, in the case of a multimeter with the AUTO function, you only need to make one measurement and the meter will automatically find the optimal range. The meter starts by default in AUTO mode
• RANGE
  manual change of the measurement range. A useful function when checking many of the same components with a known value, such as a series of resistors. Manual setting of the range will reduce the time of such measurements significantly
• FUNC.
  change of measurement mode e.g. from temperature measurement from °C to °F, switching diode test to circuit continuity test
• DATA HOLD
  retaining on the display the currently measured value
• MAX HOLD
  retaining the maximum measurement value on the display

Attention!

Current measurement with clamp meters is performed only on a single conductor, single wire. Fastening the clamps on a multiconductor cable without isolating the single conductor will show an incorrect result or zero current flow.
