Grinding stainless steel inox

The grinder has a built-in system that maintains a constant speed during low-speed operation, i.e. 3000
4000 rpm.

When machining inox (galvanized) stainless steel, the speed must not be higher than 3000
4000 rpm, because it will cause melting of the galvanized layer, and consequently corrosion (the steel will no longer be stainless). Therefore, the grinder must have:

• speed adjustment
• low speed support system

This feature is also very useful for sharpening lawnmower knives, axes, scissors, etc., as the low speed will not cause the hardness of the blade to drop (harden).

Durability of motor and control electronics

The motor and the electronic board controlling the grinder have been protected with epoxy resin.

Having a high-powered angle grinder and even a low-speed sustain system (known as constant speed) does not guarantee long-lasting operation. Why? Grinding metal produces metal filings, which are hard and can damage the rotor winding and electronic board (the tool's motor generates an electromagnetic field and attracts metal filings).
