Digital universal multimeter

Universal meter 81780 with manual range for each measurement allows you to make basic electrical measurements.

Basic measurements:

• AC voltage measurement: A.C. 0-500 V
• DC voltage measurement: D.C. 0-500 V
• DC current measurement: D.C. 0-5 A
• resistance measurement: 0-2 MΩ
• diode test: IF 1 mA, UR 1.5 V

Additional measurements:

• hFe transistor test: 0-1000, built-in measurement socket

Measurement accuracies:

Example of accuracy determination for AC voltage measurement. Calculation for the measurement result: 235 V

• The measurement accuracy of the 81780 meter for this range is: ±(1.2% + 10), resolution of 1 V
• calculation of measurement error formula: (measurement result x 2%) + 10 x resolution
• calculation: (235 x 1.2%) + 10 x 1 = 2.82 + 10 = 12.82 V

Result including measurement error for 235 V indication = 235 ± 12.82 V*

• Result including measurement error for DC voltage measurement indication: 12 V = 12 ± 0.08 V

*The 81780 meter does not have a true rms measurement function, so the above result is true only for a normal sine waveform.

Attention!

When measuring unknown values with a meter with manual range change using the dial, take measurements sequentially from the largest range up to the range giving the most accurate result
otherwise you risk damaging the device.
